Can't understand why we just can't get organized to have a reunion. Seems our friends in the other Bird Dog units from our era in RVN are doing it and we should be able to unite in an effort to get together at least one more time.

I know we are all getting older ('cause I feel it in my aching bones) but why not give it a try? I know that I can put a bit of time into it an maybe we can get it organized. I sure would like to see some of the original Shotguns one more time.

There are a lot of us that have asked the same question of why can't the 221st have a reunion. some of us are: Monte Caylor, Hank Collins, Fritz Guenther, Virgil Loftis, Mike Marlow and a few others. We are working on it , time, place and program has not been worked out. If you will alert all that you know that served in the 221st to stick around , Keep checking this site and more will be posted. Just a note. The 220th Cat Killers are going to have another reunion the first weekend in October. Location: League City, Texas (near NASA). They have advised me that they would welcome participation by any Shotguns that are inclined to attend. Check out their web site or contact me for some limited information.
