THE 183rd Seahorse Reunion
On behalf of the Veterans of the 183rd Aviation Company, I would like to
extend an invitation to veterans of all Bird Dog units that served in Vietnam,
as well as veterans of units that provided services to the 183rd or units that
the 183rd supported, to join us at our Reunion at the Hilton Garden Inn
Charleston Airport in North Charleston, South Carolina over the weekend of
October 2 through 5, 2008. Attached you will find a tentative reunion agenda
and a Reunion Activities Early Registration form.
This will be the fourth major reunion held by the 183rd and we have always
been fortunate to have veterans from other units join us. We hope that you
will consider joining us, bringing family members or other veterans from your
unit with whom we many not have direct contact.
One of the highlights of this years reunion is our Friday afternoon Memorial
Service, POW/MIA Rememberance and Cadet Parade at the Citadel. We will also
be joined, for this afternoon’s activities by members of Rolling Thunder, who
will participate in a procession to the Citadel and the POW/MIA Rememberance.
