Through their unselfish service and generous support the 221st Web Site has been established and maintained, Army Historical Records were researched and an accurate company history has been developed, and most important many of those honorable men who served as "Shotguns" during the life of the company have been located and contacted. These men have been key to insuring that the story of the "men and planes" of the 221st Reconnaissance Airplane Company will live to inspire those who will follow us in the service and defense of our country."
